The roots of CELLRO lie in the metal cutting industry. Company founder Bram de Koning has been active in this market for years and has gained experience in various metal cutting companies. From 2000 onwards, the desire for more effective and efficient production led to the need to automate the production process more intelligently. It became apparent that there was no suitable solution on the market. So the idea was born to develop a universal, process-controlled automation solution ourselves. This is the basis of the CELLRO concept: automation as a fixed element to which different machines can be connected.

CELLRO was founded in 2004 with the focus on developing high quality automation solutions that can be built in a modular way.

Thanks to the know-how and experience gained in the machining industry, CELLRO knows better than anyone what applications and methods the automated cells must control in order to work efficiently. In recent years, a sophisticated and comprehensive product range has been developed. A cell consists of standardized components and receives a control system that is specifically configured according to your wishes and requirements. The gripper components as well as the stationary and interchangeable clamping technology are supplied by CELLRO / BINKERT from the world's number one in gripper and clamping technology, SCHUNK.
